crazy is as crazy does

By now most of you who are regular readers of this blog know that i'm a bit of a typenut. i'm crazy obsessed with fonts. As i posted earlier, i'd make it my mission to keep in tune with the types and collect the all (ok 'all' is rather ambitious) fonts that i find fancy. some are hard to come by. not like you can simply just download it at dafont.com. for me, looking for fonts and having them in my hard drive is like having priceless diamonds in my bank safe.some people collect designer bags and shoes, some collect makeups, some collect their nailclippings or lint that they korek from their bellybutton (you say gross but i saw them on Oprah. serious shit man) ... i collect fonts (and mp3s). i'm a geek, like that. i don't need all of them, heck i don't even use all of them. i tend to like one or two fonts for a month or two that i'll use the living daylights off and then i'll move on to other fonts. right now, in my ever-growing font wishlist, i'm yearning to have these in my collection. types are such tease, doggamit!

(i actually have about 40 or so font in my list but i'm rounding up the top 12 that's making me nuts right now. i'll update again next time with the fonts that i've just scored recently)

1. Numero Uno in my font wishlist is : Haptic by Henning Skibbe it's driving me up the wall, this font! it's like looking at the dessert window at Delicious with all the Key Lime Pie and the chocolate sundae and pavlova and puddings and things and you're a sweet tooth who just found out that she's diabetic. That's how crazy this font is making me.

some men go for porn sites, i go into design sites. and seriously, i've gotta STOP from going into these sites because it's really not helping my crazy.
